The current company, Claasens Designs CC, came into existence in July 2010 and market a range of food processing products to established South African and international markets. A wide range of products for the processing of raw meat is also available, for example: sausage fillers and patty formers in different sizes, to name but a few. The business has its own aluminium foundry where products are designed and manufactured from start to finish. The process involves pattern making, casting, machining and assembling. The company sustains a more than 80% rate in-house manufacturing.
